Highbury Grove is a hardworking and successful school  with a clear sense of identity and purpose. Our commitment to excellent teaching and good practice in education has earned us a longstanding record of outstanding results and we continue to raise standards year after year. The progress our students make from 11-16 puts us in the top 5% of schools nationally. We encourage and celebrate achievement in all aspects of school life.

There is a well-established sixth form with the students very much part of our whole school community. Last year 99% of students achieved their qualifications and value added was graded as ‘outstanding’. Many of our students go on to study at top Russell Group universities including Oxford and Cambridge. Students are positive role models for the lower school, many with important positions of responsibility.

Excellent facilities are provided in a dedicated sixth form area including study room, common room, teaching rooms and IT suites. There is also a dedicated team of tutors and staff that work specifically with sixth form students.

Highbury Grove is a designated Music Specialist School and Business Enterprise College - dual specialisms awarded in recognition of our exceptional Music programmes and our commitment to equipping our students with essential lifelong skills.

In January 2010, we moved into our fantastic, state of the art school. The new buildings incorporate the latest technology, sustainable architecture and the most advanced resources.
