On Thursday 7th March, five Year 12 IC6 students from Highbury Fields School attended the inaugural STEMettes Panel Event. The STEMettes are an organisation promoting the idea that “girls do science too”.

Biology field trip

Eight Year 13 IC6 students from the Central Foundation Boys’ School A2 Biology group recently spent five days at Juniper Hall Field Centre in Surrey. For the students this was a fantastic opportunity to learn about ecology and field work techniques in a natural environment.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development

IC6 A-level Economics students had the opportunity to visit The European Bank for Reconstruction and Redevelopment’s Headquarters in the city. After taking part in a presentation in the board room the students had a question and answer session with the President of the bank, Suma Chakrabarti.

On Yale campus

Tahmid Chowdhury, Year 12 student at Central Foundation Boys’ School recently returned from Yale University after completing the Summer School Programme.
