A Level 3D Design
Three-dimensional Design (3D Design) is a stepping stone to the design industry. It is an ideal start for students wanting to study architecture, furniture design, product design or engineering. 3D Design is an A-Level that enables students to express their creativity, build on making skills, improve presentation skills and create design innovators.
Year 12 focuses on building up students CAD (Computer Aided Design) & CAM (Computer Aided Manufacture) skills along with the use of all workshop machinery so that they are able to choose a specialist area of interest in year 13. All units are delivered by teaching staff who have industry experience and are able to ensure a rounded experience that equips students will the skill set for university or equivalent and the ability to work in the design industry.
